iPhone 13 repair in West Covina

The iPhone 13 line (2021) is one of the most common phones on this counter. Same flat-edge body as the 12, with a smaller notch and bigger batteries. The 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max added ProMotion, a display that runs up to 120Hz — and that matters when the screen gets replaced.

Which iPhone 13 do you have?

Settings › General › About shows the model name. Each one below takes its own screen, so the exact model matters when you call.

iPhone 13 models: screen, charging port, and repair notes

iPhone 13 mini5.4-inch OLED, notchLightningThe last mini iPhone.
iPhone 136.1-inch OLED, notchLightningSmaller notch than the 12; bigger battery.
iPhone 13 Pro6.1-inch OLED, ProMotion (up to 120Hz)LightningLarge triple-camera bump; lens covers crack on their own.
iPhone 13 Pro Max6.7-inch OLED, ProMotion (up to 120Hz)LightningLargest 13.

Screens: ProMotion on the Pros

All four 13s are OLED. The 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max run up to 120Hz (ProMotion). Not every replacement panel behaves the same on scrolling smoothness, brightness, and color, so ask at the counter what part we have for your 13 Pro before you decide.

The 13 and 13 Pro are the same size, but they do not share a screen — the Pro panel is ProMotion. The 13 mini and 13 Pro Max each take their own. iPhone screens are $80–$160 with tempered glass included; the exact figure for your model is quoted at the counter.

Camera lens glass on the 13 Pro

The 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max camera bump sticks out far enough that the small glass covers over the rear lenses crack on their own, even when the screen survives the drop. A cracked lens cover can make photos hazy or add flare at night.

Bring it in and we look at whether it is just the cover or the camera behind it. Those are different jobs, and we tell you which one before quoting.

Battery: bigger than the 12, still aging

The 13 got bigger batteries than the 12, but most 13s have years of daily cycles on them now. If it dies at 30%, shuts down in a hot car, or loses a chunk overnight, that is usually the battery. The 13 mini, with the smallest battery, tends to feel it first.

Battery Health in Settings › Battery is a hint, not the whole story. We test it at the counter. Battery jobs are quoted at the counter; we do not post a battery price here.

Lightning port, back glass, and Face ID

Every 13 charges through Lightning. Car mounts, cheap cables, and pocket lint are hard on it. If it only charges at one angle or the cable falls out, that is a port look, and sometimes it is just lint.

The rear glass on every 13 is bonded to the frame, so a shattered back is a bigger job than a screen — quoted at the counter after we look. Face ID sits in the notch; if the drop damaged the top of the phone, a new screen alone will not bring Face ID back, and we test it before we start.

What we post, and what we quote at the counter

  • iPhone screens are $80–$160 with tempered glass included. The exact figure for your iPhone 13 model is quoted at the counter or over the phone.
  • Battery, charging port, back glass, and board work are quoted at the counter for the phone in your hand. Call or walk in for an exact quote.
  • Screens, batteries, and charging ports are usually same-day when the part is here. Board work and water damage are slower. If we do not have the part, we do not start the job.
  • Walk in at 332 N Azusa Ave, West Covina, CA 91791, corner of Workman and Azusa, next to Leprechaun Liquor. No appointment. Call (909) 292-8295. People drive in from Covina, Azusa, Baldwin Park, Walnut, and La Puente — it is the same West Covina shop.

iPhone 13 questions

Before you bring in your iPhone 13

Does a replacement iPhone 13 Pro screen keep 120Hz?

It depends on the replacement panel. Ask at the counter which part we have for your 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max and how it behaves before you decide. iPhone screens are $80–$160 with tempered glass included.

The camera glass on my iPhone 13 Pro cracked but the screen is fine. Can you look at it?

Yes. Walk in and we look at it. A cracked lens cover and a damaged camera are different jobs; we tell you which one it is before we quote anything.

Do the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro use the same screen?

No. They are the same size, but the 13 Pro panel is ProMotion (up to 120Hz), so they are different parts. The 13 mini and 13 Pro Max each take their own screen too.

Is the iPhone 13 Lightning or USB-C?

Lightning. iPhone 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max all charge through Lightning. USB-C started with the iPhone 15.

Can you fix an iPhone 13 the same day in West Covina?

Usually, when the part is here. Screens, batteries, and charging ports are usually same-day when the part is here. Board work and water damage are slower. Walk in at 332 N Azusa Ave, West Covina, CA 91791 — no appointment. Monday–Friday 10:00am–9:00pm, Saturday 3:00pm–7:00pm, Sunday closed. Call (909) 292-8295 with your exact model if you want us to check the part before you drive.
