iPhone 16 repair in West Covina

The iPhone 16 family is the newest generation on these pages: the 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, and the 16e that followed in early 2025. All five charge through USB-C. Because these are newer phones, parts for some models are not always sitting on the shelf, so this is the page where a quick call before you drive matters most.

Call first on the newest models

We stock for what walks in most. For a 16 Pro or 16 Pro Max screen especially, call (909) 292-8295 with the exact model so we can check the part before you make the trip. If we do not have the part, we do not start the job — you will not leave a phone in pieces waiting on a shipment you did not agree to.

Not sure which 16 you have? Settings › General › About shows the model name. The 16e is the one with a notch instead of the Dynamic Island and a single camera on the back.

Screens: the Pro sizes changed

The 16 Pro (6.3-inch) and 16 Pro Max (6.9-inch) are bigger than the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, so their screens are not shared with any earlier iPhone. The 16 and 16 Plus keep the 6.1- and 6.7-inch sizes with the Dynamic Island. The 16e is a 6.1-inch OLED with a notch.

iPhone screens are $80–$160 with tempered glass included. The exact figure for your model is quoted at the counter or over the phone. With iPhone 15 and later on iOS 18, Settings › General › About › Parts and Service History can list a display as “Used” if it came out of another iPhone, or “Unknown” if it is not a genuine Apple part or was not verified. Apple says those messages do not stop you using the phone, but they can affect trade-in value. Ask which part is going in yours.

Battery: check your coverage first

Apple changed how the battery is held in on the 16 and 16 Plus compared with earlier iPhones, so a 16 battery job is not the same procedure as an older phone. Settings › General › About shows the battery cycle count on these models — bring that number with you.

A 16 is still a fairly new phone. If yours is under Apple’s warranty or AppleCare, check that first; it may cost you less. If it is not covered, or you would rather walk in, we look at it and quote it at the counter. We do not post a battery price on this site.

USB-C port, MagSafe, and the 16e

If MagSafe charges your 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, or 16 Pro Max but a cable does not, the port is the suspect, not the battery. The 16e has no MagSafe, but it does charge on a regular Qi wireless pad, which is a quick way to split port trouble from battery trouble before you come in.

USB-C ports fill with lint just like Lightning did, and the thin tongue in the middle of the port can bend if a cable is yanked out sideways. If a known-good cable wiggles, falls out, or only charges one way up, that is a port look.

Camera Control, back glass, and Face ID

The 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max have a Camera Control button on the right side (the 16e does not). After a hard side hit, check that it still clicks and responds. If it does not, mention it at the counter so we look at it along with the rest of the phone.

Back glass on the 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max is its own panel, like the 15 line, so a cracked back is quoted separately from the screen. Face ID sits at the top of the phone; if the drop damaged that area, new glass alone will not bring Face ID back, and we test it before we start.

Price and timing

What we post, and what we quote at the counter

  • iPhone screens are $80–$160 with tempered glass included. The exact figure for your iPhone 16 model is quoted at the counter or over the phone.
  • Battery, charging port, back glass, and board work are quoted at the counter for the phone in your hand. Call or walk in for an exact quote.
  • Screens, batteries, and charging ports are usually same-day when the part is here. Board work and water damage are slower. If we do not have the part, we do not start the job.

iPhone 16 questions

Before you bring in your iPhone 16

Do you repair the iPhone 16 Pro Max in West Covina?

Walk in or call. Parts for the newest Pro models are not always on the shelf, so call (909) 292-8295 with your exact model before you drive. If we do not have the part, we do not start the job. iPhone screens are $80–$160 with tempered glass included; the exact figure for your model is quoted at the counter.

Is the iPhone 16 Pro screen the same as the iPhone 15 Pro screen?

No. The 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max have larger displays (6.3 and 6.9 inches) than the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, so the screens are different parts. The 16 and 16 Plus keep the 6.1- and 6.7-inch sizes.

Do you fix the iPhone 16e?

Call (909) 292-8295 or walk in. The 16e is a 6.1-inch OLED with a notch, USB-C, and a single rear camera. It has no MagSafe, but it charges on a regular Qi pad. We check the part for your phone before we start.

My iPhone 16 is still new. Should I go to Apple first?

If it is under Apple’s warranty or AppleCare, check that first — it may cost you less. If the damage is not covered, or you would rather walk in, we look at it on the counter and quote the job before anything starts.

Can you fix an iPhone 16 the same day in West Covina?

Usually, when the part is here. Screens, batteries, and charging ports are usually same-day when the part is here. Board work and water damage are slower. Walk in at 332 N Azusa Ave, West Covina, CA 91791 — no appointment. Monday–Friday 10:00am–9:00pm, Saturday 3:00pm–7:00pm, Sunday closed. Call (909) 292-8295 with your exact model if you want us to check the part before you drive.
